Social Media Marketing Strategist Opportunity Available at Studio 420

Studio 420 is looking to expand its marketing team by 1-2 members over the next several weeks. We are looking for a seasoned Social Media Marketing Strategist to join our team on a freelance to part-time basis.

You will be working with our clients on all social media marketing efforts, while directly being responsible for building brand awareness and fostering growth.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Build and execute social media strategy through competitive research, platform determination, bench-marking, messaging and audience identification.
  • Generate, edit, publish and share daily content (original text & images) that builds meaningful connections and encourages potential clients to take action.
  • Continuously improve by capturing and analyzing the appropriate social data/metrics, insights and best practices, and then acting on the information.
  • Regularly evaluating the success of your marketing efforts and tweaking the marketing strategy as needed.
  • Create editorial calendars and monthly reports.
  • Interact with clients on a daily basis via Basecamp, email and phone.


  • 3+ years of digital marketing experience.
  • BS in Communications, marketing, business, new media or public relations.
  • Proven working experience in social media marketing or as a digital media specialist.
  • Excellent consulting, writing, editing (photo/text), presentation and communication skills.
  • Demonstrable social networking experience and social analytics tools knowledge.
  • Knowledge of online marketing and good understanding of major marketing channels.
  • Ability to coordinate, plan, and execute on a monthly schedule.
  • Adequate knowledge of web development a plus.
